| Welcome to the Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Investors Association (MAREIA)
Founded in 2002 by a group of investors looking to establish a different kind of investment club, MAREIA's motto is "Education, Encouragement and Ethics." This sums up who we are and what we promote.
Whether you're new to investing or a seasoned veteran, MAREIA has something to offer you. Our mission is to provide a place to network with other investors. And, just as important, we offer a variety of educational programs so that you can keep up with the latest methods of investing and running a real estate business.
MAREIA has one general meeting held on the 2nd Thursday each month that draws up to 200 people. It takes place at Ruth's Chris Steak House located at Baltimore Beltway exit 20 off I-695. These meetings normally have a featured speaker, usually a nationally-known expert in a particular area of real estate investment.
We also have monthly meetings of smaller, special interest groups for landlords, rehabbers. In addition, there is a deal makers forum where real-world deals are analyzed and a discussion group specifically for women investors called WINGS (Women Investors Network and Group Support).
